I got it wrong!

Thanks for your patience at two emails one right after another. I wasn’t going to send this but

told me you would understand. I hope you understand =)

A reader alerted me that if you follow those directions I just sent that it entirely unsubscribes you from the author, in this case, me! You’d still be technically following me on the app, but if you don’t use the app, you’ll never see my work.

I know most of you don’t use the Substack app, so the instructions I just sent you would unsubscribe you from Sayable entirely.

Please don’t go!

I’ve done a quick search and it doesn’t seem there’s any way around this except to use the Substack app (which is, of course, what the powers that be at Substack want you to do ;) ).

• The only other thing to do is to keep your subscriptions to a manageable amount for you. Decide who is a non-negotiable for you and then trust that the rest of the good stuff will rise to the top and make its way to you eventually.
