Friendships + Boundaries + why it's hard to have these conversations

It’s almost time for our next Zoom conversation. Last month we had a great group of folks show up. No one is forced to talk or introduce themselves or even have their camera on, so it’s the perfect place to quietly lurk if that’s your style. Or chime in, if that’s yours! These conversations will always take place on the second Tuesday of the month at 12pm Eastern time.

This month I randomly chose one of topics you guys suggested and the topic is Adult Friendships and the subject of boundaries. These two aren’t necessarily related, but they can be and so, for our convo, they will be.

Please, to anyone who shows up, remind me at the beginning to press record! I forgot last time and a bunch of folks asked for it afterwards. If I remember, I will amend it to this post at the bottom after we’re finished with the conversation.

The plan will be for me to chat a few minutes about the topic, and then answer any questions you have for me, and then delve into some dialogue with you. The meeting will be an hour.
