These monthly Zoom calls are becoming a favorite thing of mine. We’ve had a great group of folks show up each time and some beautiful conversations. I usually receive several messages afterwards saying how grateful folks are to be in a “room” with people thinking about these things out loud. It has truly been a calm and beautiful space thus far.
Once again, no one is forced to talk or introduce themselves or even have their camera on, so it’s the perfect place to quietly lurk if that’s your style. Or you can speak up if you want. No pressure either way. These conversations will always take place on the second Tuesday of the month at 12pm Eastern time.
Tomorrow’s randomly chosen topic will be Anxious times and responding with non-anxious presence. If you know of someone who may benefit from coming to this convo, feel free to share this post with them before tomorrow 👇🏼
Throughout the next ten months, I’m hoping to host conversations around your other suggestions (and if you have any more suggestions, feel free to comment with them below:
How to cultivate beauty / Finding spaces of wonder
Midlife faith / Liturgy
Infertility /Pregnancy loss
Loved, Assumed, Hated: our process and thoughts on gay marriage
Having grace for ourselves and others / Considering other views charitably
Naming desires
Marriage
The link for tomorrow’s meeting is below. Take note that there’s a passcode and you will need to input that in order to access the call. The video will be off when you log in, but I’d love to see your faces if you feel comfortable! The plan will be for me to chat a few minutes about the topic, and then answer any questions you have for me, and then delve into some dialogue with you. The meeting will be an hour. See you tomorrow!
𓆸 Also, I had been planning on recording these and sharing them after the conversation, but I’ve realized that recording the conversations and having them available online may be uncomfortable for some of the participants. I know that it may feel sad for some of you, but I’ve decided to no longer record the conversations. Thank you for understanding =)
