I need to have a better “wind down” routine before bed this school year. I used to drink Calm before going to bed. Maybe I’ll start that again! I did a sleep study in July. The results were fascinating and helpful to me. The best part about the whole not-great, but not-awful experience was the sleep number bed that could elevate my back and legs. I’m going to start saving money for one! I sleep best when I’m basically sitting up…which is kinda perfect for reading, too.

I don't know if he still has a profile on Twitter but I am pretty sure it was Scott Sauls who tweeted about praying and falling asleep on the Father 's lap.

ohhhh. that footnote on your routine! i love my sleep but i have the opposite problem, mild sleep apnea, where i can fall asleep easily but will sleep about 3 hours at least even for napping, then feel like i was "hit by a truck" for at least an hour on awakening. my routine is just trying to be consistent with times, and also LOVE a fan, connoisseur of fan sounds 😆 It jas to be a smooth white noise. I use Alexa ambient sounds for fan at times.

Mine is listening to The Office, Seinfeld, Mom or any other pre-watched series on Netflix that I don’t need to watch. One pillow under my head, one pillow between my knees and ceiling fan on.....for now.
