Every time I post about politics I get some angry emails from people who tell me, in so many words, to make their main thing my main thing. My main thing has always been making sayable the things that churn inside a lot of us, even if it’s not the thing that churns inside of you. So you might not like that I’m going to write about politics here, but—in my most gentle and kind voice—that’s about you, not me. I’m going to keep being me =)
